Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal data Proofline collects through this website and the beta waitlist, and how we use it. A separate data processing agreement covers the data our customers process with Proofline about their own users.
Who we are
Proofline (“we”) operates proofline.link. For privacy questions, email privacy@proofline.link (opens in a new tab).
What we collect on this website
When you join the waitlist, apply as a design partner, or email yourself a code plan: your
email address, and anything else you choose to give us (name, company, role, app name and link,
platforms, revenue range, how you work with creators, your message), the form you used, the
marketing parameters in the page address (utm_*), and your consent to be contacted.
When you browse: standard server logs kept by our hosting provider for security and reliability. We don’t use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. Your theme choice (light or dark) is stored in your browser only.
What we never store: your IP address. To stop abuse of our forms we compute a short-lived, salted hash of it, which changes daily and can’t be turned back into the address.
How we use it
- To reply to you and invite you to the beta (legal basis: your consent).
- To understand which channels bring interest in Proofline (legitimate interests).
- To keep the website secure (legitimate interests).
We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
Service providers that run the website and our email: hosting (Vercel), database (Neon) and, when enabled, email delivery (Resend). Each processes data on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Waitlist and application data: until you ask us to delete it, or 24 months after our last contact with you, whichever comes first. Rate-limit hashes: deleted within days.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or withdraw consent, by emailing privacy@proofline.link (opens in a new tab). If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
We will post changes here with a new date.
