Adapty + Proofline

If your app already uses Adapty, Proofline can read the same purchase events through an Adapty webhook. The integration is in beta: it is built from Adapty’s webhook documentation and has not yet been checked against a live Adapty account.

Setup

Four steps, about ten minutes.

  1. 01

    Connect Adapty in Proofline

    Open your app’s integrations and connect Adapty. Proofline shows a webhook URL and generates an Authorization value, once.

  2. 02

    Add the webhook in Adapty

    In Adapty’s webhook integration, use the URL as both the production and the sandbox endpoint, and the same Authorization header value for both. Turn on “Send user attributes” and “Send Play Store purchase token”. Adapty’s save-time check is answered automatically.

    Pass the Proofline user id to Adapty

    Set the Proofline end-user id as an Adapty custom attribute, so every later webhook says which Proofline user bought. Use the same customer user id in Adapty and in Proofline’s identify call.

  4. 04

    Make a sandbox purchase

    Adapty has no test event, so buy in sandbox. A sandbox receipt appears in Proofline; sandbox purchases never earn commission.

What syncs

What Proofline reads.

  • Started, renewed and refunded subscriptions, trials and their conversion, one-time purchases
  • Cancellations, reactivations, expiry, billing issues, grace periods and pauses
  • Price in the purchase currency, with tax and store fee taken from Adapty’s net revenue
  • App Store and Google Play transaction ids, so a purchase also seen by another source counts once
  • Proofline custom attributes; other attributes, e-mail, device ids and IP addresses are dropped

Limits

  • Beta: built from Adapty’s documentation, not yet verified against a live account.
  • Renamed event types must be listed in the connect dialog; otherwise they are ignored.
  • Paddle and custom stores are not settled. No backfill or reconciliation for Adapty yet.
  • Stripe purchases reported by Adapty are ignored when Stripe is connected to Proofline directly.
